One of the greatest phenomenons relating to the weather in Hawaii has to do with rainfall. While it rains almost daily high in the mountains, rain is almost always localized. So, while it may be raining wherever you are, you can almost always find a sunny spot on the beach.

If you're heading to Hawaii for a vacation, you need to decide which of the several islands you might want to see. Your search may turn up a Kauai vacation package, possibly a Maui vacation packages, and more than one Big Island of Hawaii vacation packages. Inter-island travel is generally done by small planes, so please be sure the price is figured into your package.

Whichever trip itinerary you select, be sure to do plenty of research into the activities available on that particular island. While websites and travel agents are great sources, the personal experiences of anyone you know may be more helpful. You can get a good idea of what others enjoyed the most, but remember that just like every vacation experience, yours will be unique.

Hawaii travel packages often have brochures; however, these pamphlets rarely have information about non-tourist attractions. If you want to distance yourself from the large commercial resorts and trappings, try visiting a small town along the shoreline of the Big Island in Hawaii.
